Bats win seventh straight, take down Pawsox 2-0

PAWTUCKET, R.I. – The Bats beat the Pawtucket Red Sox 2-0 Sunday afternoon at McCoy Stadium to earn their seventh straight win and their third straight over the Red Sox. LHP Ryan Feierabend went seven scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and striking out five to earn his first win with the Bats. OF Joey Gathright went 4-for-5 and drove in one of the Bats’ two runs with OF Bill Rhinehart knocking in the other. RHP J.J. Hoover pitched a perfect eighth inning in his return to the Bats and LHP Donnie Joseph pitched the ninth to earn his second save.
